Tattoos and piercings have been used in civilizations long ago and still continue today in the 21st century as an extreme beauty practice every where. These practices have been used to explain alot of things. Tattoos have been used for spritual connection or as a connection to someone who has passed away, but also as a connection to something that means so much to someone. Tattoos and piercings have also been used as a terror or intimination tactic to scare society but according to these people it signifies beauty and as a belonging to some terror groups such as gangs, biker clubs, and also some old civilizations used these to mark such things as killings, victories, or as a tribute to someone who they admire for their skills as warriors. There are many different ways to signify these kinds of things and they show to the world in all kinds of ways such as face tattoos, face piercings, full body art, and also on genitalias. Some cultures consider this the ultimate extreme beauty practice as you will see in life today and in the past. Tattoos and piercing have appear to also be the most used beauty practice of today.

However, you have to explain why tattoos and piercings are considered a kind of extreme beauty practice. We call something extreme when it is abnormally done or when it actually causes harm. So, explain why tattoos and piercings are a kind of extreme beauty practice. If it is done on the face, how is it different from normal make up?
